Since 2008, Light A Candle has been bringing health education and hope to the communities of La
Romana, Dominican Republic. Our work includes:
- Locally produced health films
- Health seminars to small groups and health promoters
- Health presentations in communities, churches and schools
- Health fairs offering screenings, counseling, literature
- Pregnancy monitoring in batey communities
- Children's health activities
